Resizing a widget

The size of a widget depends on the number of columns and rows on the panel. The smallest widget is one column by one row in the main workspace area and one-quarter column by one-quarter row in the Smart Stack area. The largest widget is four columns by two rows in the main workspace area and one column by two rows in the Smart Stack area.

The size of the widget is also limited by the available screen area, which limits the number of columns that are available. You can change the panel by resizing the smart panel. When you adjust the screen area, the widgets are automatically resized to fit content in the smaller or larger area.

To confirm resizing options for a widget, click the information icon displayed in the lower right corner of the widget in Edit page layout mode. The information window indicates the standard size and the maximum size of the widget.

  1. Open a widget workspace.
  2. Click the Edit icon and hover over a widget.
  3. Click and drag the resizing handles.
If the widget is in the Smart Stack area of the workspace, you can use these alternative options for resizing:
    • Select a specific value for the widget height.
    • Select auto to enable the automatic resizing based on the widget content.
The available size options and whether automatic resizing can be enabled depend on the widget.
  4. Click Save.
Resizing widgets is not supported on touch devices.
