Editing Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) settings

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) adds another layer for verifying your credentials and is used for signing in through Infor Cloud Identities.

In addition to requiring your user name and password combination when signing in, you must perform one of these actions:

  • Provide a Time-based One-Time Password (TOTP) from your device.
  • Complete a Duo push.

The action depends on how the system is configured by your Infor OS Portal administrator.

The device can be configured and managed for MFA in User Settings > Security > Multi-factor Authentication (MFA). These settings are available only for users signed in through Infor Cloud Identities.

Under Multi-factor Authentication (MFA), you can set up and maintain this information:

  • Add a new device for MFA.
  • Rename a device name.
  • Change your default MFA device for authentication.
  • Remove an existing device.

You can have a maximum of five MFA devices configured at one time.
