Registering the passkey through the Forgot Password option

When Passkey is enabled for a tenant, all Cloud Identity users will see Passkey as an option when completing the Reset/Forgot Password flow. Below are the steps that a user must follow if they want to their account to use Passkeys as an option during the login flow.

As an Infor OS Portal user with an existing account, when Passkey is enabled, you see Passkey as an option when completing Reset/Forgot Password. Complete these steps to update your account to use a passkey as an option during log-on.

  1. Navigate to the Cloud Identities log-on page and select Reset/Forgot Password.
  2. Enter the required information and select Email me.
  3. Click the link provided in the password reset email to be redirected to the password reset page with two authentication options: Password and Passkey.
  4. Select Passkey.
  5. Complete the necessary user information.
  6. Click Create Passkey.
    The Passkey registration page is displayed.
  7. Complete the Passkey registration process.
    The Passkey is registered and associated with your account.
    You can now sign in Infor OS Portal by entering your email or username and selecting Login with Passkey.
    You will receive an email entitled "Infor CloudSuite Identities - Passkey updated confirmation - Tenant name" confirming that the Passkey has been added.
