Using tabs

You can open multiple tabs. The tabs are displayed in the navigation bar, and you can switch between them. If there is an overflow of tabs, the remaining tabs are displayed in the expandable list on the right of the tabs. You can also restore recently closed tabs.

Bookmarking this page

To create a bookmark, click the drop-down icon on the tab and select Bookmark this page.

Pinning a tab

To pin a tab, click the drop-down icon on the tab and select Pin Tab. Pinned tabs are always present in the Tabs bar, and are visible when you launch Infor OS Portal.

Closing a tab

Click the close (x) icon to close a tab. A tab cannot be closed if it is pinned. To unpin a tab, click the drop-down icon on the tab and select Unpin Tab.

Refreshing a tab

To refresh a tab, click the drop-down icon on the tab and select Refresh. This option is available only for workspaces.

Setting as home

To set a tab as your home page, click the drop-down icon on the tab and select Set as home. If you remove the home page, then the home page is reset to the default set by the administrator.

Note: If the home page option is not available, then the feature has been turned off. Contact your administrator for more information.

Duplicating a tab

You can create a duplicate tab for applications that support this feature. To do so, click the drop-down icon on the tab and select Duplicate. The new tab has the same title as the duplicated tab with the addition of the instance ID. For example, the Products tab is duplicated to Products [2].

You cannot pin the duplicate tab or set it as a home page. You can perform these actions only on the original tab. When you can use the Bookmark this page option on a duplicate tab, the original tab is bookmarked.
