Process Mining - Chart

The Process Mining - Chart standard widget can be configured by selecting from pre-published Chart widget configurations in Process Mining. This widget displays the most recent version of the data, ensuring users have access to the latest insights. Basic configuration options are available to customize the displayed data according to the user's needs. Users with mining roles can drill down from these widgets onto the Process Insights page within the Process Mining app for more in-depth analysis.

Users with access to the Insights Designer page can publish Chart widget configurations, making them available for use within the standard widgets. Configuration changes made in Process Mining are not reflected in the widgets used in workspaces unless they are explicitly republished, providing control over when updates are visible to all users.

When the widget is added to a workspace:

  1. Click Configure Widget.
  2. Select a published widget configuration.

The list of configurations is populated with the list of published widgets from Process Mining. If a configuration is deleted from Insights, it is also removed from this list. The list uses this tree structure:

    • CloudSuite
      • Insight
        • Page
          • Chart published configuration
Note: Only users with access to the IPI-MiningAdmin or IPI-MiningInsightsDesigner security role can publish a Chart configuration from a Process Mining widget.
  3. Optionally, click the Lock icon to unlock the title field and change the name of the widget.
  4. Click Save.
  5. View data displayed in the widget in the form of a chart.
  6. Click the Tools icon to see the configuration of the widget and optionally to customize the widget.

Fields that are grayed out cannot be changed. They are updated only if changed in Process Mining and the widget is republished.

These fields are editable fields and can be customized:

    • Graph type
    • Custom Labels
    • Industry Benchmark – only for Data to Display of type Cycle Time and graph type Line or Area
Note: If a widget used in a workspace has at least one customized field, republishing the widget in Process Mining does not overwrite the customized fields.
  7. If you have access to Process Mining, click the hyperlink to be redirected to the page in the Process Insights menu where the widget is located.
