Exporting users from the Functional Security Role details page

Export a list of users associated with a functional security role in CSV or XML format.

You must have access to the Functional Security Role page in the application.
Use the export functionality to download a list of users mapped to a specific functional security role. The exported file can be saved as a CSV or XML file.
  1. Go to the Functional Security Role page.
    The page displays a list of available functional security roles.
  2. Select the required functional security role from the list.
  3. Click the Users tab to view the users associated with the selected role.
  4. Click the export icon next to the import icon. (The export icon is grayed out by default when there are no functional security roles selected.)
    The Export Users dialog box appears, showing the number of users available for export.
  5. Select the export file type:
    Option Description
    CSV Saves the file in CSV (UTF-8) format to support special characters.
    XML  
  6. Click Export to download the file, or click Cancel to close the dialog without exporting.

The export is processed as long running action. The file contains:

  • A UserName header.
  • Usernames of the users associated with the selected role.

The file name follows this pattern:

ExportUsers_FunctionalSecurityRoleName_FSR_TenantName_Timestamp

Example file name:

ExportUsers_AdminRole_FSR_TenantA_2024-11-05T14-30
The exported file is available for download from the Long Running Actions menu.
