Authentication URL Options

Use the Authentication URL Options page to configure your default authentication method.

These options require your system to have more than one authentication method available.

To give users the option to select their authentication method each time they attempt to sign in, select the Allow users to choose the authentication mode check box. The users can choose Infor Cloud Identity, a federated identity or an OpenID Connect (OIDC) identity.

To set a default authentication mode, clear the Allow users to choose the authentication mode check box and specify the Your default authentication mode is value. The drop-down list contains all the federated security identities, OIDC identities and Infor Cloud Identity.

The sign-in pages for federated security identities and OIDC identities do not have contact links.

You can access your system with different authentication methods by using URLs listed on the Authentication URL Options page. These URLs override the default configuration:

  • The default URL where users sign in with the authentication method selected in the Your default authentication mode is field.
  • The URL where you sign in with Infor Cloud Identity.
  • The URL where you sign in with a federated identity.
  • The URL where you sign in with the specific federated identity. Each federated identity has one dedicated URL.
  • The URL where you sign in with the specific OIDC identity.
  • The URL where you choose an authentication method with which to sign in.
