Editing a dynamic workspace

In the edit mode of a dynamic workspace, you define the workspace content and specify which users have access to the content.

  1. Select Workspaces > Dynamic Workspaces.
  2. Select a dynamic workspace and click Edit.
  3. Expand the Banner Area or Main Area section.
  4. From the Quick Add section, drag and drop required components to the Banner Area or Main Area section.
    You can choose from these components:
    • Image
    • Information
    • Link list
    • Shortcuts
    • Text
    • Web
    • Widget

    Alternatively, you can click Add Component to view a dialog box from which you can select components to add to the destination area.

  5. Optionally, click the setting icon next to each component to specify its title, icon and the icon's background color. You can also add translations.
  6. Click All users to limit the visibility of the component to specific security roles.
    By default, each component is visible to all users.
  7. Add information for each component, as required.
  8. Click All users to limit the visibility of the information to specific security roles.
    By default, the information is visible to all users.
  9. Optionally, change the order of the components by dragging and dropping the repositioning icon to the left of the component title to the preferred position.
  10. Click Close on the toolbar to exit the edit mode.
