Notification Center and Infor Inbox in Infor Go
Infor Go supports notifications from Notification Center and Infor Inbox:
- Notification Center: A modern interface for managing notifications across Infor applications.
- Infor Inbox: A classic interface for viewing and handling notifications.
Depending on your organization's configuration, one or both applications are available. Only one of these applications can be active in Infor Go. When both applications are available, you select which of them is active. Infor Go behavior is adapted to the active application:
- The active application is displayed on the applications and recent applications lists instead of the inactive application.
- You receive push notifications from the active application and do not receive notifications from the inactive one to avoid duplication. Unread notifications are indicated with a blue dot.
- When you select the push notification, the interface of the active application is displayed. See Push notifications.
Switching the active application
When both Notification Center and Infor Inbox are enabled by your organization, you can change which application is active in Infor Go. You can do it in two ways:
- Use the Try Notification Center switch.
Open application settings and change the setting of the Try Notification Center switch.
- Use the quick switch option.
Open the active application (Notification Center or Inbox) and select or from the application header.
Notification preferences are stored per user per device, so they are not synchronized across devices.
