Document process flow

The Document Processor Flow screen provides users with access to both pre-built and custom document processing workflows. Pre-built flows, which are marked as "Completed" and "Base Flow," are read-only and have been finalized after multiple prompt iterations. You can drill down into these flows to examine detailed components including entities, document classes, prompts, and activities.

For custom workflows, users can leverage the GenAI provider to create new flows focusing on Entity Classification, Document Classification, or a combination of both. When creating custom flows, users have the flexibility to configure required entities, document classes, activities, and prompts according to their needs. These custom flows can be saved as drafts for future modifications or marked as completed. Once marked as completed, the flows appear on the Overview page and become available for document inference processing.

Flow Drill-Down

You can drill down into existing flows to view all elements associated with a particular flow. The flow drill-down process is divided into five screens: Basic Info, Document Class, Activity, Prompt, and Summary. You can navigate through these screens by clicking the Next button to proceed to the next screen. This table shows and summarizes the various sections involved in the flow drill-down process:

Section Name Description
Basic Info Displays the Flow Name, Description, and Document Processor Flow GUID. This page helps users identify the components used for that flow.
Document Class Shows the list of Document Classes, Entities, Tables, and Table Headers added to each Document Class.
Activity Displays the Activities used for the flow, such as Document Classification, Entity Classification, and Save Document To IDM. Shows properties like Provider Name when clicking on a dragged activity.
Prompt Shows the complete prompt sent to the LLM including Clues, Instructions, Tasks, Guidelines, Document Classes, Entity List, Table Headers, and Output Format. Allows modifications for Draft flows.
Summary Provides a complete summary of the flow, including Basic Info, Document Class details, Activities, and Prompt details.
