Core components

Health Service consists of five core components.

This table shows the Health Service core components.

Component name Description
Application The Application component groups modules and their associated resources, events, and rules.

Each application can consists of several modules. The modules are designed according to the use cases of the application team.

Resource The resource component represents individual instances monitored by Health Service.

Resources must be registered to allow Health Service to track the resource's statuses and to trigger notifications based on event types.

Module The module component allows administrators to categorize related events and resources based on specific functionalities or areas within application. A module is a logical grouping within an applications. Each module has a unique name.
Event Type The Event Type component defines specific conditions to monitor within a module.

Each event type has an associated rule and triggers notifications based on predefined criteria.

Rule Definition The Rule Definition component specifies conditions for each event type and defines conditions for alerts.
