Getting started

Before you can access GenAI, you must be configured as a user and assigned a security role.

We recommend that you take some time to learn how to navigate the application.

GenAI features enablement

The GenAI features can be toggled on and off in the CloudSuite Self-Service Portal (CSSP) by the customer admin.

To enable the features in CSSP:

  1. Open the Features screen within the Self-Service Portal.
  2. Select Feature Type > GenAI.
  3. Select the tenant form the Tenant menu.
  4. Click the Enable button for any GenAI features to be enabled for the selected tenant.

Security roles

If you have a GenAI user role, you can access the GenAI from Infor OS Portal by selecting OS > GenAI. Based on your user role, these options are displayed:

  • Prompt Playground

These IFS security roles are available:

  • End User IFS Roles: Enable to access the end-user facing chat experience
  • Admin IFS Roles: These roles are available:
    • GENAI-PromptEngineer: Enable to access Prompt Playground
    • GENAI-Admin: Provides these capabilities:
      • Enable to access full GenAI features

Navigating to GenAI

If you have any of the Admin Roles, then you can access GenAI from Infor OS Portal by selecting Infor OS > GenAI.
