Service Authorized App (.ionapi)

A backend service authorized application must be created in each tenant where the ETL Client is extracting data. For each authorized application, you must generate and save the representative credential file (.ionapi).

This credential file must have a Service Account associated when generated.

To add a new authorized app, perform these steps:

  2. On the Authorized Apps page, click the + icon.
  3. Specify this information:
    Name
    Specify a name, for example, IONETL_{environment} >> IONETL_TST.
    Type
    Select Backend Service.
    Description
    Specify the description.

For details, see "Adding a non-Infor application".

  4. Click Save.
  5. Click Download Credentials.
  6. Enable the Create Service Account option.
  7. Select the name of a user to associate with the service account.
  8. Optionally, select one or multiple scopes that the service account can access.
  9. Click DOWNLOAD.
  10. Create the x:\Infor\IONETL\Admin folder and copy the downloaded .ionapi file with the authorized app credentials to that folder.
The file location is configured as part of the kettle.properties file.
