Finding and replacing characters in object names

To find and replace one or more characters in multiple object schema names, you can use the Find and Replace feature.
  1. Click the More icon in the upper-right corner of the Objects to Register list.
  2. Select Find and Replace.
  3. Specify this information:
    Find what
    Specify the character, or set of characters, to be replaced in all object names.
    Note: To replace only a whitespace, press Spacebar.
    Replace with
    Specify the character, or set of characters, to use as a replacement value for all instances of the Find what value.
    Note: Replacement characters must follow the object naming convention rules for object schema names. Only letters, numbers, periods, hyphens, and underscores can be used.
  4. Click Replace All.
When complete, all object schema names with the Find what character are updated and include the new replacement character.
