Overview

The Global Packages functionality allows for application content and configurations to be deployed onto a target tenant from Self-Service Portal. This guide goes over the details of how to be able to successfully deploy a Global Package with the Security content.

With global packages, the security authorization data and security configurations can be deployed into a tenant.

There is no change in the functionality of Security resources deployed to the target tenant through global packages, however restrictions are listed below in the "Target tenant resources" section.
