Validation failed
This topic describes scenarios that can cause the validation to fail. After the issue has been corrected, you should run the validation process again to verify that all issues have been corrected.
To review validation messages, navigate to the Validate tab located on the upper ribbon of the Details page of the deployed package. Click the button in the Validate Messages column to access the messages.
If the validate state is Evaluate, you should see reminders such as:
- Configuring a service account for a workflow imported via the global package. This is not included and must be set up manually after deployment.
- Notifying that an enterprise location being imported requires installation of an Enterprise Connector.
- Indicating that objects such as data flows or workflows may need to be activated following deployment.
- Advising that certain connection point parameters, which are tenant-specific, may require reconfiguration post-deployment.
After reviewing these messages, select the Accept & Acknowledge check box on the Messages dialog box. Then close the dialog box to return to the Validate tab. Click to move forward with the deployment stage.
If the validate state is set to Error, these are the recognized error messages that prevent deployment from continuing:
Server error
If an internal server error prevents progression from validation to deployment, contact support through Infor Concierge.
Object exists and active
If one or more ION objects in the global package already exist and are active on your tenant; these should be deactivated before deployment. If you have deactivated the objects, rerun the validation in order to continue with the deployment process. Such a validation error can occur when upgrading an existing global package to a newer version.
