Robot is able to log on but nothing happens later

Perform these checks:

  • Ensure that interactive log on messages are disabled for the unattended RPA device. See, Disabling interactive log on messages section in the RPA Installation Guide.
  • Verify that the RPA Robot Service is configured to start automatically when the RPA Robot user logs on to the application. This check must be confirmed when using the RPA Configuration Manager functionality in the Manage Users menu of the Mastermind application.
Note: You must set up the robot in Mastermind, by completing the Robot creation form, before accessing the Manage Users menu on the Configuration Manager page. Else, the Robot is not displayed as an option when configuring in Mastermind.

    To verify configuration:

    1. Open Windows Task Scheduler (Windows Search > Task Scheduler > Open the Task Scheduler application).
    2. Click Task Scheduler Library.
    3. Verify that the intended user is listed in the Task Scheduler Library prefixed by Infor RPA. If the user entry is missing, perform these steps to manually configure the robot service application to start automatically when logged on.
      1. Navigate to the robot startup folder on the unattended device.
      2. Log on as the robot user.
      3. Open the windows run dialog (Win + R) or search Run.
      4. Run the ‘shell:startup’ command to open the startup folder automatically.
      5. Create a copy of the robot service exe and place it in the RobotService folder (C:\Program Files\Infor\RPA\Backend\RobotService).
      6. Create a shortcut for the application (RoboServ_TrayApp.exe) and place in the startup folder.
