Finalizing a published process

An RPA flow is called an RPA process when published from the RPA Studio to the RPA Management application. The published process is initially in a Draft state and must be finalized to enable users to run the process in the attended or unattended mode. See, Publishing RPA project.

  1. Click the arrow option corresponding to a process. The process details page displays the Users, Admins, and Argument Scoping tabs.
  2. Click the Admins tab.
  3. Click Add to select and add an Admin to the process.
  4. Click the Users tab.
  5. Click Add to select and add a User to the process.
  6. Click the Argument Scoping tab to define the scope of arguments. Possible values:
    • User Argument: Defined at the user level. This scope of this argument must be defined for all users in a process.
    • Process Arguments: Defined at the Admin level. This scope of this argument must be defined for all admins in a process.
You can enable the Copy Argument Values option to copy arguments from an older published version to a new version of the same process.
Note: Global Arguments are not considered in the Argument Scope list.
  7. Click the Secure checkbox, corresponding to an argument, to specify if the value assigned to the argument must be secured.
  8. Click Save to finalize the process.

You can now navigate to the process details to define the argument values.
