Configuring email templates

The Email Template option lists all of the emails the External Entity feature sends out in various scenarios.

As the tenant administrator, you can customize the external entity email subjects and languages and associate the customize email templates with specific external entities.

Details of external entity emails

Account Registration
This email is sent when a tenant or external entity administrator sends an invitation to an external entity user to register for an external entity account. The email provides a link for the external user to complete the account registration process.
Account Verification/Confirmation
This email is sent after an external user successfully completes account registration. The email provides a link that redirects the user to the external entity login page.
Account Locked
This email is sent as notification that the user's account is locked. 3-5 attempts and 15-30 minutes are the login attempts and duration a tenant administrator can set in password management settings.
Forgot Password
This email is sent when the tenant or external entity administrator selects the reset password (by user) action in the action dropdown on the user settings page or by the external user on the external entity login page. The user is sent this email that includes a link to begin the password reset process.
MFA
This email is sent when an external user logs into the external entity account with a CloudSuite Identities identity provider. If MFA is enabled and the external user has an MFA device configured or MFA is enabled and enforced, MFA is triggered, and the external user is challenged to provide a one-time password (OTP). The MFA email provides that one-time password. Every time an external user tries to log in, the user is challenged to provide a one-time password and is sent the MFA email.
