Configuring external entities

The External Entities page displays all external entities that are configured for the tenant.

As the tenant administrator, you can create, edit, disable, and delete external entities.

This table shows the external entity settings:

External entity setting fields Definition
Code A unique value. Supports only A-Z (capital letters only) and 1-9. No spaces or special characters are allowed. Maximum of 20 characters.
Name Display name of the entity.
Description Description of the entity.
Organization name Name of the organization. If no value is set for this, the tenant name is the default. The organization name is displayed in external entity email subjects.
Status Active/Inactive.
Max Number of External Users Set the maximum number of active users in the external entity: 0 = unlimited.
Application Redirect URL This is the URL the user is redirected to after a successful password reset. The user is redirected to this URL only if the user does not have permission to access Infor OS Portal or Infor Ming.le.
From email address Displayed in external entity emails.
Terms of Use URL Displayed on the external entity login page.
Contact Us URL Displayed on the external entity login page and external entity emails.
Policy URL Displayed on the external entity login page.
Registration Email Template Select customized registration email template. Customizable in Settings > Email Templates > Registration Email .
Confirmation Email Template Select customized confirmation email template. Customizable in Settings > Email Templates > Confirmation Email.
Account Locked Email Template Select customized account locked email template. Customizable in Settings > Email Templates > Account Locked.
Forgot Password Email Template Select customized account locked email template. Customizable in Settings > Email Templates > Forgot Password Email .
MFA Email Template Select customized MFA email template. Customizable in Settings > Email Templates > MFA Email Template .
Email Logo The logo is displayed in external entity emails.
Login Page Logo The logo is displayed on the external entity login page.
Company Displayed only when you add a landmark application on the External Authorized Components and Applications tab. You must save the External Entity and leave the page. To show Company field, drill back down to the specific External Entity. This field remains non-mandatory and only allows numerical values.
