Configuring authentication URL options

Use the Authentication URL Options page to configure your default authentication method.

These options require your system to have more than one authentication method available.

If you want to give users the option to select their authentication method (an Infor OS Portal or Infor Ming.le identity or a federated identity) each time they attempt to sign in, select Allow your users to choose Authentication mode.

To set a default authentication mode, clear the Allow your users to choose Authentication mode check box and select the appropriate Your default authentication mode is value. The drop-down contains all the federated security identities in the system as well as the Infor OS Portal or Infor Ming.le identity.

On the Authentication URL Options page are URLs that allow you to access your system with different authentication methods. These URLs override the default configuration stated above:
Default URL
This is the default URL that allows users to sign in with the authentication method selected in the Your default Authentication mode is field.
Infor OS Portal Identity URL
This is the URL that always allows you to sign in with an Infor OS Portal or Infor Ming.le identity.
Federated Identity URL
This is the URL that always allows you to sign in with a federated identity.
Prompt for Authentication mode URL
This is the URL that always allows you to choose what method of authentication with which to sign in.
Specific Federated Identity URL
There is one URL for each federated identity. This is the URL that always allows you to sign in with the specific federated identity.
Note: The authentication URL option is not available to Landmark customers. It may be supported for Landmark at a future date.
