Working with features

All new features that can be enabled or disabled are displayed in the feature settings section.

The value applies to all users. Rules cannot be applied to feature settings.

If the features are not available in an on-premises installation, the corresponding feature property may be disabled in the Homepages properties in the grid management pages.

Name Default value Description
Banner Widget False Turns the Banner Widget functionality on or off. Turning this feature off makes all standard and published banner widgets unavailable to all users. You can still manage permissions for the banner widgets via the administration tool.

Banner widgets are displayed in the banner area at the top of each page. The banner area extends the width of the window, and has a background color that is the same as the page color.

Dynamic Pages False Turns Dynamic Pages on or off. Turning this feature off makes all dynamic pages unavailable to all users. It also hides the Dynamic Pages, Archive, and Security Policy sections in the administration tool. Turning the feature on again retains all existing dynamic pages, archived items, and security policies.
Standard Pages True Turns Standard Pages on or off. Turning this feature off makes all standard pages unavailable to all users. You can still access the standard pages in the administration tool.

Standard pages, similar to standard widgets, are predefined content provided by Infor. The purpose of standard pages is to add predefined content to help you get started. See Working with standard pages.

Infor reserves the right to, at any time, publish new versions of standard pages with updated content. If you do not want to receive updates for a standard page, you can publish a copy of it. See Publishing a copy of a standard page.

Tenant Widgets False Turns the Tenant Widgets functionality on or off. Turning this feature off makes all tenant widgets and published tenant widgets unavailable to all users. It also hides the Tenant Widget section in the administration tool. Turning the feature on again retains all existing tenant widgets, both standard and published.
Translate widget, page title and description False If enabled, the user can add translations for published pages and widgets. Consider turning this feature off when one single language is used. Existing translations are retained if this feature is enabled again after being turned off.
