Data Drawer

In the Data Drawer, you can see the preview of the model result. To ensure the preview is fast and not using unnecessary resources, these settings are specified:

  • The result set is limited to 100 rows.
  • The text [data type, data size] is displayed instead of all columns with Binary content. For example: [Binary, 12 Bytes].
  • Other data types are limited to display the first 100 characters.

In the Model Results panel, you can switch between the grid view, output format view, and SQL code view of the model result that is generated by the AnySQL Modeler. Use the icons on the right-hand side to select the required view.

If you select the SQL code view, you can click the Edit in ION Query Editor icon and select one of these options:

  • EDIT EXISTING

Edit the existing model. The current model is displayed in the ION query editor mode.

  • CREATE NEW

Create a new model. A copy of the current model is created and displayed in the ION query editor mode.

Note: When you switch to the ION query editor mode, you cannot switch back to AnySQL Modeler. The ION query editor mode is supported since the 2022.12 version of the Enterprise Connector.

Data Drawer is minimized by default. To extend it, drag the top border of the Model Results panel to the preferred position. If more space is required, click the Toggle Row Height icon to decrease the font size or the Fullscreen view icon to expand Data Drawer to the full size of AnySQL Modeler.

Click Refresh to refresh the data to match the current status of the model.
