Overview
You can download the Infor RPA application and the related components from RPA Management and install on your device.
You can select one of these installation options:
The attended mode of installation automates RPA flows that require user intervention. These RPA flows run in the existing windows user session and are visible to the user.
You must select this installation option to create and run bots in an attended mode. These bots are triggered by a user. The Robot and the RPA Assistant components are installed when the Attended Installation option is selected.
The unattended installation runs without user intervention. This automation is run by the RPA Mastermind application which is the RPA runtime engine. The RPA Mastermind application,configured through the RPA Management, is a user interface component of RPA to manage processes, devices and robots. The unattended mode of installation enables processes to be run on remote devices on a selected schedule.
You must select this installation option to create and run bots in an unattended mode. These bots are controlled by RPA Mastermind that runs long processes and does not need human intervention. The Robot and the RPA Agent components are installed when the Unattended Installation option is selected.
Note: The unattended installation is recommended on virtual machines.The RPA Studio is an Integrated Development Environment (IDE) used to create RPA Flows.
