Managing published insights groups

The Published Insights page displays a listing of all published insights groups. When permissions are set, the Permissions column contains the keyword Has restrictions. The default permission is for the published insights group to be displayed in the Insights Groups Catalog.

The Published Insights page has all actions available in the toolbar above the list. You can search, sort, and filter to affect which insights groups are shown. To display more insights groups that match the search, use the pagination at the bottom of the table. All possible actions are available from the Actions menu. Actions that are available only for either single or multiple select are enabled only when they can be used.

To manage published insights groups, go to Widgets > Published Insights.

These actions are available from the Actions menu:


Action	Description
Delete	Deletes the selected insights group.
Export	Exports the selected insights group as a zip file.
Permissions > Edit Permissions	Shows the insights group permissions. You can remove, add, and edit permissions.
Permissions > Copy Permissions	Copies all permissions for the selected insights group to the clipboard.
Permissions > Apply Copied Permissions	Adds the permissions from the clipboard and updates the values for existing security roles and users without removing existing entries.
Permissions > Replace Copied Permissions	Clears any existing permissions and adds the permissions from the clipboard.
Permissions > Clear Permissions	Removes all permissions for the selected insights group. This action enables all users to configure the published insights group and makes the published insights group available in the Insight Groups Catalog.
More > Open in Catalog	Displays information about the insights group such as the title, details, last edited, created by, and permissions.
More > Take Ownership	Makes you the owner of the insights group.
More > Change Ownership	Opens the Change Owner dialog box. Note: Owners have permission to change an insights group if they have permission to publish insights groups.
Export All	Exports all published insights groups. Note: This action includes all published insights groups including those not yet retrieved by the client.
Import	Imports a zip file with published insights groups. Note: You cannot import a published insights groups if the standard or tenant widget upon which the published insights group is based is not available. These insights groups are skipped during the import. The import of a standard widget with no framework in the manifest fails and widget is not imported. For a single import only, not a zip file or a file in a zip file, an error message indicates when the import fails.

Note:

Some actions are displayed or enabled only if you click Copy Permissions and permissions exist in the clipboard or if the widget has permissions.
