Enabling context messages

You can enable and configure the context messages for widgets in your insights group.

  1. Open the smart panel for an application.
  2. Click the Insights icon.
  3. Click the Ellipsis icon.
  4. Select Context Messages.
  5. In the Context Messages dialog box, select the check box of the widget you want to configure the context messages for.
  6. Click Edit.
  7. Click Add Context Message.
  8. Select the message type:
    Infor Business Context
    Selected by default.
    Custom Name
    Enter the name of the custom context message.
  9. Click OK.
  10. Select your context message and click Add in the Rules table.
  11. Select the rule type, Screen ID or Custom Name.
  12. Specify this information:
    Screen ID
    Specify the operator and the screen ID value.
    Custom Name
    Specify the property name, the operator, and the custom value.
  13. Click Save.
