Editing a functional security role

To edit a functional security role:

  1. From the Infor OS Portal Security option, select Configure > Functional Security Role.
  2. On the Functional Security Role page, locate the functional security role to be updated and click the edit icon.
  3. Update the name, description, and Assign to New Users check box selection for the functional security role as required.
  4. Click the Security tab.
    To add one or more security roles to the functional security role:
    1. Click the Add new item icon to display the Select Security Roles dialog box.
    2. Select one or more security roles.
    3. Click Add & Close to add the security roles and close the dialog box.
    To remove one or more security roles from the functional security role:
    1. Select one or more security roles.
    2. Click the Delete selected item(s) icon to remove the security roles.
  5. Click the Users tab.
    To assign one or more users to the functional security role:
    1. Click the Add new item icon to display the Assign Users dialog box.
      Note: Only active users are displayed in the search results for the functional security role.
    2. Select one or more users.
    3. Click Add & Close to assign the users and close the dialog box.
    To remove one or more users from the functional security role:
    1. Select one or more users.
    2. Click the Delete selected item(s) icon.
  6. Click the Save item icon to save the updates to the functional security role.
