Introduction
You can use the data for querying and creating transformations at an on-premises database level.
It is recommended that you perform some planning to understand the data that is moved, and the volume of that data. Consider how to spread those transformations over multiple Jobs to have a stable runtime environment. Build a list and group some high-volume tables with low volume tables in each Job to give a good blend through the execution.
There are scenarios where more than one ETL Client is installed on multiple servers to support very large volumes and offer additional redundancy capability.
ETL Client Software
When the ION-S-DATALAKE-ETL license is purchased, the ETL Client software is available for download from Infor OS.

If the software is not available, contact your sales representative to ensure the license is in place. You can also contact support to verify the license and provide the .zip file to download.
For Infor Government Solutions (IGS), the ETL Client cannot be downloaded from ION. Instead, you can download the software from the Infor Support Portal, KB 2116383.
Versions
The minimum version to be used is 2023-10_610-157, which is available as of October 2023.
Older versions are deprecated and may stop working from release 2024.04 or 2024.10 onward. Further communication is available through KB 2105703 in the Infor Support portal.
For Infor Government Solutions (IGS), the version to be used is different. Refer to KB 2116383 in the Infor Support portal.
