Validation failed
This topic describes scenarios that can cause the validation to fail. After the issue has been corrected, you should run the validation process again to verify that all issues have been corrected.
Email Templates Not Appearing in Target Tenant
To resolve this issue, in the source tenant mark the document that is being referred to as template and make sure the document is included in the output templates when creating the source package.
Needed Values Sets not found in export package or target tenant
Create a new package with the needed value sets or create the value sets in the target tenant.
Needed Values within Value Set Dependencies do not exist
Create a new package with existing value sets values or create the value set with values in the target tenant.
Needed Document Types not found in export package or target tenant
Create a new package with the needed document type or create the document type in the target tenant.
Existing attributes are to be deleted
Add the missing document type attributes to the document type to prevent loss of data.
Existing attributes will have a data type change
Keep attribute data type as is, so that data loss does not occur.
Existing attributes will receive a larger minimum constraint and existing document violate the new constraint
Set the minimum constraint lower so that document type attribute is not lower than the minimum set.
Existing attributes will receive a smaller maximum constraint and existing document violate the new constraint
Set the maximum constraint higher so that document type attribute is not higher than the maximum set.
Existing attributes will receive a smaller size constraint and existing document violate the new constraint
Set the attribute constraint to be greater, so that existing documents do not violate the constraint.
Existing attributes will be updated as required and existing document violate the new constraint
Remove the required field for the attribute.
Existing attributes will be updated as unique and existing document violate the new constraint
Remove the unique field for the attribute.
Validate if display name is present for value set
Add the name for the value vSet.
Value Set has the same name but different value in target tenant
If value set has the same name in the target tenant, you should give it the same value in the package. Or change the name to a unique name.
Value Set has a different name with an already existing value
If value set has the same name in the target tenant, you should give it the same value in the package. Or change the name to a unique name.
Needed Document Types (inside XQuery and within BCM Name) not found in export package or target tenant
Create a new package with the needed document type or create the document type in the target tenant.
Needed document types are not found in export package or target tenant (Skipping MDS_DistributionJobs dependency even if it exists in retention policy.)
Create a new package with the needed document type or create the document type in the target tenant.
Check to see if IEP is enabled in the target tenant
Enabled IEP in target tenant.
