Routing
To use content-based routing:
- 
				Click Connect > Data Flows. 
				A list of existing data flows is displayed.
 - Select the document flow to add the content based routing to.
 - Click Details to open the document flow modeler.
 - Add a Routing activity to the flow.
 - Right-click the diamond shape of the routing activity to add or remove normal branches and default branch. By default, a routing activity has two branches.
 - Click the Attributes tab.
 - 
				Select the attributes that must be used in the filter. 
				You can select the attributes in these ways:
- 
						From document content.

						From headers

Click + From Header.
 - 
									
Select Document or All documents from the drop-down list.
 - 
									
Select header from the drop-down list. When All documents is selected the Custom headers are not shown.

						From document content.

		  Specify the conditions on the selected attributes.  
		  See Defining conditions.
 - Click the Branches tab.
 - 
				Select branch. 
				
You can rename the branch if required.
For each document select a defined condition or one of these options:
- Send Never
 - Send Always
 
After activating the flow, theION Service ensures that messages are filtered according to the specified conditions.
