Modeling Infor Cloud 1.0 connection points

The connector properties are used to connect to the backend application.

To model the properties:

  1. Ensure that the Logical ID format is: lid://infor.type.Name .
  2. Specify the Name and Logical ID Type of the cloud connection point using the Logical ID received from Infor.
Ensure that the auto-generated read only Logical ID visible in ION Desk matches with the Logical ID received from Infor.
  3. Select the Tenant check box. Specify the value of OnPremise Tenant ID received from Infor.

On the Connection tab of the application connection point you can select the Infor Cloud type. These properties are available:

    Property Description
Protocol: The protocol used to connect to applications hosted in the Infor Cloud. Default is xmpp over https; you can change it to xmpp over http or xmpp over tcp. However these are meant for special circumstances such as using the Cloud connector within a private cloud or for testing purposes.
ION Proxy Server: The proxy server to connect ION to the InforCloud. Specify this domain: ionxmpp01.saas.infor.com.
Port Number The default port for https communication. Specify: 443
User Name Username to connect to the ION proxy server. See the username from the e-mail received fromInfor.
Password: Password to connect to the proxy server. See the password from the e-mail received from Infor.

More properties are available in the advanced section of the application connection point. These properties are automatically set by default.

For details on these properties, see Advanced properties of connection points.

  4. Importing the Security Certificate.

Access to Infor Cloud is through SSL Communication. The security certificate of Infor Cloud must be imported into the container truststore of the ION running at your site. This happens automatically when the connectivity to the cloud is verified for the first time. However the ION server must be restarted before the changes take effect

  5. Testing the connection.

Complete setting the properties and click Test, to verify whether the connection details are correct. You are informed whether the test is successful or not. If this is the first time you are verifying the connectivity, this error message displays:

Invoke operation 'TestAdapterConnection' failed. Adapter test connection failed: Timeout reached for the connection to ionxmpp01.saas.infor.com:443" in IONDesk screen.

Restart the ION Service and click Test again. The certificate installation and the connection to Infor Cloud is completed.
