Recovering the primary server as the primary server again

If the old primary server can be recovered and if the old primary server should become the primary server again, perform the steps in Promoting an Infor OS secondary node to the primary node.

On the secondary server, which was temporarily the primary server, stop these Windows Services and set these Windows Services to manual start or disabled:

• Infor Federation Services Timer Service
• Infor Ming.le GraphDB Service
• Infor Ming.le Shredder Service
• Infor Ming.le Cache Service
• Infor Ming.le IFS Background Service

After the services have been changed, update the Elastic Search YML file on all hosts of Infor OS. Refer to the "Updating the Elastic Search YML file" section in the Infor OS Installation Guide for instructions on how to update this file.
