Data Fabric

Data Lake: Application Security

Access to Data Lake pages can now be controlled on the new Security page available in Data Fabric.

Data Fabric administrators can define which IFS security roles have access to the different Data Lake pages in Data Fabric. In addition to page access, administrators can also define which roles have the authority to use certain features available on those pages. For Data Lake, this includes the ability to download a data object, mark an object as corrupt or uncorrupt, and purge data from Data Lake.

For more details, see the Infor Data Fabric User Guide.

Support ACLs for Data Fabric security and permissions (MVP)

On the new Security page in the Data Fabric application, administrators can define which IFS security roles have access to each page in the Data Fabric application. In addition to page access, administrators can define if users have view-only access or if users assigned to the role can also manage the content on the page. Actions included with managing content may differ for each component but include create, update, and delete actions.

For more details on defining application security in Data Fabric, see the Infor Data Fabric User Guide.
