Preparing to receive documents

Use this procedure if the selection is "Receive from Partner" or "Bidirectional".

  1. In your own ION API, configure an ION API authorized app that grants access to a remote ION tenant.
  2. Configure an ION Network connection point. If you already have a connection point to send documents to this other ION environment, reuse that connection point.
    1. Import the locally created authorized app credentials.
    2. Assign documents to receive.
  3. Model a document flow where this connection point routes messages to the required connection points in your ION environment.
  4. Activate the document flow.
  5. Provide the authorized app credentials to the owner of the remote ION environment.
