Infor Cloud 2.0
The Infor Cloud 2.0 is used to connect ION enabled on-premises applications to Infor cloud applications.
The Infor Cloud 2.0 connection point type is the Infor Cloud Connector for connectivity to the Infor cloud applications. This cloud connection point uses Amazon services to exchange messages and information with the Infor cloud environment. If you use Infor cloud applications, your Infor Business Cloud provider informs you which Infor Cloud version to use.
When managing the Cloud 2.0 connection point, you can retrieve the status of BOD processing up until the message delivery to the cloud application. If a message is sent to a cloud application, you only see a Message Delivered event when the messages are posted in the inbox of the cloud application. In Manage Active Connection Points the Received Unprocessed Messages for the cloud connection point shows the number of messages not yet being picked up by the cloud application. The Sent Unprocessed Messages shows the number of messages already delivered by the cloud application but not yet retrieved by the on-premises ION. These numbers are displayed when the connection point status is Active.
You must create a cloud account to use the Cloud 2.0. The Infor Business Cloud provider delivers a Cloud Account ID and Security Key which you can use to configure the cloud account. When the cloud account is created, it shows for which Infor cloud applications you are entitled in the context of this cloud account. For each of the entitled cloud applications you can create an Infor Cloud 2.0 connection point.
For more details about the credentials for your cloud account, contact your Infor representative.
