Purging archived data objects in Purge

When purging by filter or by object ID, the default settings do not include the purging of archived data objects.

To purge archived data objects in Purge:

  1. Enable the Include archived switch.
  2. Specify to purge by data object ID or by filter.
    See Deleting data objects in Purge.
  3. Click Purge.
  4. A confirmation dialog box is displayed. This dialog box shows the number of archived objects included in the purge request.
  5. Select the I understand the implications of purging archived data check box and specify the note in the Purge Description field.
  6. Click Yes to confirm the purge action.
    Caution: 
    The purge action cannot be reverted and archived data objects are removed.
