Viewing data in Data Lake
With Atlas, a Data Lake tool,
you can browse, manage, preview, and download data objects under management within Data Lake storage.
When you open Atlas, you are presented with an interface to select what data object names you are interested in selecting. Start by selecting an object name from the left panel to display the data objects.
The left panel shows a list of Object Names and these details for each name:
- Object data type, as defined in Data Catalog for the object. Shown as an icon.
- Indexed date of the last stored data object.
- Count of data objects.
You can sort the list of object names by several methods and you can narrow down to specific object names using search and filter criteria.
