Refresh
The target tenant is deactivated to prevent user access. The customer can choose to prevent user access on the source tenant as well. The data is copied from the source tenant and restored into the target tenant, overwriting all existing content. The tenants are then reactivated.
A tenant can be refreshed at the CloudSuite level or at the environment level. A CloudSuite is a collection of applications that work together, such as CloudSuite HCM. An environment is associated with a single application and tenant type, such as training or production. Some examples of environments are Mingle_ TRN and EAM_PRD, where the first part of the name is the application, and the second part is the tenant type.
Data refresh is typically used to move content from a production tenant to a test or development tenant. Refresh of the production tenant is not allowed.
Take care when performing data refresh. Content that is overwritten in the target tenant may not be retrievable.
Customers can initiate a data refresh.
