Cloning

Cloning in a multi-tenant environment can apply to an individual product or to a CloudSuite.

When cloning a CloudSuite, CloudSuite Portal (CSP) manages the orchestration of the cloning process as per the suite-specific clone/data refresh recipe defined for that CloudSuite.

In cloning, the target is a new tenant, provisioned by the clone action. After the new tenant is provisioned, data from the source tenant is copied into the new target tenant. After the cloning is complete, both tenants are available to the customer. Cloning is available only at the CloudSuite level. Cloning is typically used to copy content from a production tenant to a new tenant.

Cloning can be initiated only by lnfor. Customers must contact their lnfor representative to start the cloning process.
