View menu

Hovering over a view or property displays an ellipsis icon. Click the ellipses icon to show the View menu. These options are shown:

• Expand

  Expands the view and shows the view’s properties.

  This option is not displayed in the menu for the view properties.

• Refresh

  Retrieve the latest schema definition for the view.

• Generate SELECT

  Inserts a generated SELECT SQL statement in the code editor.

• Generate SELECT Option > Skip Reformatting

  Inserts a generated SELECT SQL statement with a skip reformatting query hint.

• Generate VIEW

  Inserts a generated View statement to either ALTER or DROP the existing view.

  This option is not displayed in the menu for view properties.

• Open in Data Catalog

  Opens the Data Catalog details page for that view.
