Data Transfer

Data transfer is defined as the transmission and delivery of data that traverses Infor’s cloud boundary on request of a user, client, application, or system. Infor licenses egress in quantities of terabytes (TB) and provides metering capabilities to reconcile bytes transferred out of the Infor cloud.

Usage of services including, but not limited to, Data Fabric Payload APIs, Compass APIs, Compass database drivers, Infor Document Management download functionality, and Infor ION file delivery is subject to egress metering in the course of content delivery to applications and services residing outside of the Infor cloud. For more information regarding service limits, see each product’s service limit page.

Customers are subject to egress metering in the event a data consumer such as an application, client, or service terminates a connection in which content is being delivered outside of the Infor cloud. Data transfer is calculated as the summary of bytes delivered to completion or termination of a request.

In the event Infor terminates a connection during delivery of content that would otherwise incur egress metering, these events will not be calculated in the summarized egress entitlement.

Usage of Compass’ browser-based query editor may be subject to egress metering in the event a data consumer downloads resulting payloads directly from the browser.
