Data Fabric Storage

The Infor Data Fabric uses an object storage file system for persisting files that contain application business data within. Infor licenses Data Fabric storage on a per-terabyte (TB) basis and provides metering capabilities to identify current and historical storage statistics measured in bytes.

For metering purposes, Infor may summarize the aggregate total of bytes stored across all files within the Data Fabric to provide statistical usage overviews, dashboards, and licensing metrics for measuring consumption of Data Fabric storage in relation to storage licensing entitlements. For licensing purposes, storage is aggregated and presented using TB as a unit of measure.

Entitled storage as defined with the Data Fabric Storage Service Levels is a reflection of data stored at a specific point in time. If storage entitlements are exceeded beyond the service levels defined, customers may be expected to purchase additional storage for the Data Fabric.
