Planning tool

The Planning tool at the Agent level supports the Agent by dividing complex tasks into manageable steps.

The tool creates a real time to do list while the Agent is active. The tool supports structured planning and action sequencing. The tool helps the system determine how to complete a goal before any action starts.

Enable the tool for any Agent use case that requires extensive thinking and planning before task completion.

When the GenAI Assistant uses this functionality in inline thoughts, any invocation complies with the configured planning behavior.

The Planning tool is enabled as the default.

To disable the Planning tool, disable the toggle provided within the Agent Editor.
