Human-in-the-loop for tool review

You can pause a chat session to review a Tool.

The GenAI Assistant can pause an active chat session so that a user can approve or deny a Tool action. After the user selects Approve or Deny, the conversation resumes after all pending Tools are approved or denied.

A Tool must have the Review required option enabled in the Agent editor.

To enable Review required for a Tool:
  1. Select Infor OS > GenAI > Factory > Agents.
  2. Select the name of the Agent that you want to edit.
  3. In the Agent editor, select Tools.
  4. From the list of Tools that are assigned to the Agent, select the Review required check box for each Tool that must pause the conversation.
  5. Click Save.

    After configuration, the GenAI Assistant prompts the user to select Approve or Deny when a Tool action requires review.

    If the user selects Approve, the conversation continues after the Tool action completes.

    If the user selects Deny, the conversation continues without running the Tool.
