Display thoughts in the GenAI Assistant

When you invoke an Agent or Tool, the GenAI Assistant displays the Thoughts generated to complete the response. These indicators appear only while the Agent or Tool is running and disappear after the response is delivered.

These are example of a Thoughts flow after invoking an Agent:

  • Transferring to the UserProfileAgent...
  • Retrieving user profile information...
  • UserProfileTool Completed...

To show Thoughts for all conversation outputs, go to Settings in the GenAI Assistant and enable the Show thought history toggle.

Note: This feature is supported for GenAI users with these roles:
  • GENAI-Admin
  • GENAI-ToolAdmin
  • GENAI-ToolTester
