What's New on Documentation Central, April 2026

Refreshed website experience

The Documentation Central site has been refreshed with new colors and images to improve the overall experience on the site.

Search improvements

Home page search button

On the Documentation Central home page, the search is now run from a single action button called Search. The Search All Contents and Search Titles-only options have been moved to the Search filters dialog.

Search words highlighted in content

Search words and phrases are now highlighted in the documentation. This makes finding your desired documentation content much easier in the documentation libraries and lists.

Expanding search field on product pages and the All Products list

For an improved visual experience, the search icon opens a sliding search box on the product pages and the All Products list.

Collapsed search facets on the search results page

The search facets include lists of products, versions and languages. To make the Search results page less cluttered, the search facets are now initially displayed in a collapsed accordian style. The sections can be expanded if the search facets need to be changed.

Saved searches can now be repositioned

In the Saved searches dialog, saved searches can now be repositioned according to your preference. The Saved searches dialog is opened from the home page, search results and profile menu.

Including archived content in search results

Archived product documentation can now be included in search results. A new option called Include archived documentation under General filters on the search results page is used for this.

Search tips

The Search tips are now displayed in a slide-out section that is always visible. This means the tips are visible when you need them - when searching for product documentation.

New profile menu items

To improve visibility and availability, new links on the profile menu are available for the Archive documentation, What’s New information, and search tips.
