Configuring the Categories
- Select Configuration > Categories. The Categories screen is displayed.

Specify this information:
- Category ID
- A unique ID used to categorize the item.Note:
- This field cannot be modified.
- The value is populated by the application when the category is created.
- Category Name
- The name used for categorizing the item.
- Status
- The status of the category. The possible values are:
- Active
- Inactive
- Auto Assign
- Select this check box to automatically add the category to the Revenue Center Category tab with an Active status.

Specify this information in the Category
Details section:
- Is Recently Added
- If this check box is selected, the category has been added recently.
- End Date
- The date to which the category remains active.

Click Save.
Note: A confirmation message is displayed wherein you can select:
- Yes, to add the category to all the existing revenue centers.
- No, to save the category without assigning to the existing revenue centers.
