Adding Items to Cost Center

Use the Items tab to add or modify items associated with the Cost Center.

The List View section displays all the validated and non-validated items. The Detail View section displays the details of the item selected in the List View section.

Note: You can only modify notes, tags and brands.
  1. Select Revenue Centers > COST CENTER > Items tab. The Items tab is displayed.
  2. Specify this information in the Items section.
    Product ID
    A unique identification number of the product.
    Product Name
    The name of the product.
    External Product ID
    The external unique identification number assigned to the product.
    Price
    The price of the item associated with the revenue center.
    Notes
    The additional information or comments related to the item.
    Tags
    The name of the tag associated with the item.
    Brand

    The name of the brand associated with the item.

    Product Image
    The image of the item.
    Category ID
    A unique identification number of the category associated with the product.
    Category Description
    The description of the category.
    Sub Category ID
    A unique identification number of the sub category associated with the product.
    Sub Category Description
    The description of the sub category.
    Sub Menu Description
    The description of the sub menu.
    Assortment ID
    The unique identification number assigned to the item assortment group.
    Assortment Name
    The name of the assortment associated with the item.
    Status
    The status of the item associated with the revenue center.
    End Date
    The end date of the item in the POS.
    Shorter Name
    The shorter name of the product.
    Button text
    The first 20 characters of the item description which is displayed on the POS for the selected Button.
    Item Size
    The size of the item.
    Item Unit
    The unit of the item.
    Standard UOM
    The UOM of the item.
    Recipe Number
    The recipe number associated with the item.
    Local Name
    The local name of the item that is created in master items.
    Kitchen Name
    The name of the item when a kitchen ticket is created.
    Mobile Name
    The name of the item displayed on a Mobile device.
  3. Click Save.
