Configuring Modifier Option

You can use the Modifier Options to include add-ons from the master items that are associated with a modifier group.

Note: You can use the Add multiple Modifier Options option from the Actions menu to add multiple records to a modifier group.
  1. Select Administration > Modifier Group. The Modifier Group screen is displayed.
  2. Select the Modifier Options tab.
  3. Specify this information:
    Option ID
    A unique ID which is sequentially generated by the application when the Modifier Option is created.
    Note: You cannot modify this value.
    Product ID
    A unique ID and name of the item.
    Product Code
    The code assigned to an item.
    Button Text
    The text displayed on the POS.
    Status
    The status of the item that is included in the modifier option.
    Order by
    The sequence order in which the items can be included in the modifier group.
    Note: By default, this value is set to 0.
  4. Click Save.
    Note: You can add items with the validation status New, Sent, or Not Validated as a modifier option in the modifier group.
