Solution enhancements
Infor Global Financial Controller 11.2.0.0 contains these features and improvements:
Application enhancements
- Synchronous REST API
- A request of transactions are sent to GFC through the REST API service. Business rules are then executed in order for GFC to produce an output transaction or an error.
- CSV input file
- GFC supports comma-separated values (CSV) as an input file. These files can be used to trigger business rule execution or as lookup data.
- EBCDIC input file
- GFC supports Extended Binary Coded Decimal Interchange Code (EBCDIC) as an input file. Data originating from mainframe applications following this file format can now be easily interfaced. These files can be used to trigger business rule execution or as lookup data.
- Deactivate rule feature
- Allow deactivation to facilitate versioning or updating of rules.
- Custom master data import feature
- Encode data by batches through a csv file upload. The feature is now available in the module.
- Log download feature
- Application runtime log files can be viewed from the GFC user interface to easily monitor or investigate events. Downloadable logs are available for one month.
- Label update
- Some field labels of the user interface are updated to communicate GFC’s purpose as an application for techno-functional users to configure business process automation.
- BOD version updates
- The BOD schema in GFC is upgraded from version 2.13.6 to 2.14.3.
