Infor Global Financial Controller 11.2.0.0 contains these features and improvements:

Application enhancements

Synchronous REST API
A request of transactions are sent to GFC through the REST API service. Business rules are then executed in order for GFC to produce an output transaction or an error.
CSV input file
GFC supports comma-separated values (CSV) as an input file. These files can be used to trigger business rule execution or as lookup data.
EBCDIC input file
GFC supports Extended Binary Coded Decimal Interchange Code (EBCDIC) as an input file. Data originating from mainframe applications following this file format can now be easily interfaced. These files can be used to trigger business rule execution or as lookup data.
Deactivate rule feature
Allow deactivation to facilitate versioning or updating of rules.
Custom master data import feature
Encode data by batches through a csv file upload. The Import feature is now available in the Data Entry module.
Log download feature
Application runtime log files can be viewed from the GFC user interface to easily monitor or investigate events. Downloadable logs are available for one month.
You can download any current log file every half an hour or specify a date and time range of log activity. The logs are retained for one month. This feature is available in the Administration menu.
Label update
Some field labels of the user interface are updated to communicate GFC’s purpose as an application for techno-functional users to configure business process automation.
Web Service Security is the header label for security settings for IMS and REST API. Business Process Automation (BPA) Designer or BPA Designer replaces Business Rule. API Registration replaces API and is now grouped together with Expressions under Operations.
BOD version updates
The BOD schema in GFC is upgraded from version 2.13.6 to 2.14.3.
